This handmade Marie Antoinette Dress Gown Costume will be built to your measurements by me. The dress costume is designed to wear at many events. Can be worn as a Colonial costume, a Rococo 18th Century dress gown, Venice Carnival costume, Mardi Gras costume, Bastille Day dress costume, French Colonial dress costume, Halloween events, Masquerade Ball Gown, Baroque ball gown, Palace of Versailles events, birthday parties, and many more.
This listing is for the bodice corset top, the skirt with the sacque back attached. The panniers cage frame is also included. The dress costume will be handmade to your measurements in 6 to 8 weeks. Ships priority mail. Can ship express mail if needed. Dress fabric is a rich looking medium pink brocade. Has golden Rococo embellishment around the neckline and sleeves. Dress gown is offered in many other colors. Here are the dress details.
BODICE DETAILS
The bodice is built like a corset, made on princess lines with boning in all seams. Inner lined in cotton for comfort. Sleeves trimmed in golden lace trim with metallic gold features. The flounced sleeves are lined from the shoulders to elbow in soft muslin. The under sleeves are lace flounces.
Sleeves are embellished in the same golden Rococo trim that is on the neckline. The bodice hem line has piping for a richer look. Bodice can be built with or without the bows .The bodice opens and closes in the back with a drawstring running through industrial strength grommets. A privacy panel is also built into the back opening. The privacy panel can extend the bodice corset by adding 1 to 2 inches.
SKIRT DETAILS
The skirt is pleated onto a true waistband. The waistband can be made to your exact waist size, or it can be made a little larger with a length of elastic for weight gain or loss. The skirt opens and closes at the back with industrial strength hooks and bars. A privacy panel is also at the back opening. The skirt is hemmed according to your height, over
a panniers cage frame to shape the dress.
Dress will be custom built to fit your measurements over dress forms set at your measurements. I will send you the measurements list when you are ready to order. Panniers cage is included with this dress to shape the dress. and extend the sides of the dress. I can make slight changes to your preferences.

Sizing details
Showbelles items are all custom made, and made to order. All listings have the needed measurements in the descriptions. Please see the list below for sizing.
1. I make all sizes from 34 bust to 52 bust for women.
2. For men, I make all sizes from 38 shoulders to 52 shoulders.
3. I can also make childrens' sizes from a size 7/8 and higher.

Care instructions
Some of my custom items are washable in cold water with biodegrable detergents like Woolite. some of my custom items need dry cleaning.
1. Any item made from pure silk will need dry cleaning.
2. For polyester and poly blends, I highly recommend dry cleaning for holding the crisp new look. some polyester garments can be cool water hand washed. No dryers. Lay flat to dry. Very warm iron.
3.Cotton and cotton blends can be handwashed cold water. Cool dryer or tumble dry on very low heat setting. I highly recommend dry cleaning because all of my custom items are special occasion.
