I will re create for you the Marie Antoinette movie dress worn by Madame Pompadour, in the Dr Who movie, "Girl in the Fireplace". Madame Pompadours dress is called the Fireside dress. The Pompadour dress is built in Marie Antoinette 17th century Rococo styling. The dress gown will be built to you measurements.
The fabric is a decorator weight medium heavy silk blend. Fabric is a golden base with the blue print scroll work as seen in the Fireside Madame Pompadour movie dress. Fabric has the fireside candlelight glimmer that adds a romantic aura. The 5th picture shows how the fabric gleams because of the fabulous silk blend.
The gown has the Watteau sacque back and train. Underneath the Watteau sacque is the historical sizing adjustment. The adjustment allows you to loosen a drawstring at the center back .....in turn that releases more room if needed. The drawstring can be controlled from the inside of the gown. The drawstring is strong but soft....and will not annoy you. Let me know if you would like to see more pictures of this dress gown.
The gown opens in the front with industrial strength hooks and bars..... spaced 1 inch apart. The front is very low cut for lots of cleavage ....as in those Rococo historical days. The gown is hemmed about an half inch above the floor. Can be hemmed shorter to reveal your Marie Antoinette shoes.
The ensemble includes:
1. the panniers cage frame that shapes the dress
2. the overdress
3. the underdress/petticoat
4.lots of striped bows for the front center and sleeves
5.ivory lace trim
6. sleeves flounces that are removable.
7. Dress is fully boned and fully lined.
8. The overdress and under dress petticoat have a historical hand hem that is 2 inches deep.

Covered securely in a large garment polybag. Panniers are wrapped separately and stored in the box bottom. Dress is lightly folded in the garment poly bag....and over the panniers to prevent excessive wrinkling.

Sizing details
Showbelles items are all custom made, and made to order. All listings have the needed measurements in the descriptions. Please see the list below for sizing.
1. I make all sizes from 34 bust to 52 bust for women.
2. For men, I make all sizes from 38 shoulders to 52 shoulders.
3. I can also make childrens' sizes from a size 7/8 and higher.

Care instructions
Some of my custom items are washable in cold water with biodegrable detergents like Woolite. some of my custom items need dry cleaning.
1. Any item made from pure silk will need dry cleaning.
2. For polyester and poly blends, I highly recommend dry cleaning for holding the crisp new look. some polyester garments can be cool water hand washed. No dryers. Lay flat to dry. Very warm iron.
3.Cotton and cotton blends can be handwashed cold water. Cool dryer or tumble dry on very low heat setting. I highly recommend dry cleaning because all of my custom items are special occasion.
