This adult's custom Dickens Victorian Christmas holiday set includes the cape, skirt, sash, hoop cage, blouse , petticoat underslip, and matching bonnet. The skirt in pictures is shown over a 3 boned hoop cage. You can select the skirt fabric from the samples list. Please contact me so I can send to you the pictures of the skirt fabrics.
This set can be made in other color selections and choices . The skirts can be made in a variety of colors. The capes are always black corduroy that have a velvety appearance. The blouses are always white cotton Victorian mutton sleeves with lace around the sleeves wrist area. The bonnets are made to match your costume....in velvet,or satin, or corduroy. Cape lining and sash belts are made from the same fabrics.
COSTUME DETAILS.....
The 7 piece set is to be custom made your measurements. Measurements list is below.
1.skirt colors are your choice, tartan plaid or holiday brocades.
2.cape to be made in black velvety corduroy as shown in pictures.
3. cape is lined to match or compliment skirts in red,green,black,burgundy, and more.
4.sash to be made in cotton or satin. Cotton is great for cotton tartan plaids. Satin is great for brocades.
5.underslip petticoat lining for skirts made from cotton lining fabric in a color that matches the skirts,
6.blouse to be made in white cotton with lace edging on sleeves, as shown in pictures.
7. bonnet to be constructed in black corduroy or black velvet to match cape as shown in pictures.
Costume Details
1.The cape has a closure on the jewel neckline collar.
2.The sash ties at the back, and is one size fits all.
3.These sets are designed to be worn and interchanged with other peices.
4.Cape is lined in black, red, or green cotton, your choice of satin or brocade linings
5.Sash is made to match the cape's cotton lining.
6. The skirt is made from holiday plaids, or brocade. Shown in the photo is the red tartan plaid. Other plaids are shown to let you see that you have many options. Please contact me for the pictures of other skirt fabrics.
7. The skirt has a separate petticoat liner lining for easy laundering.
I also make the girls Dickens costumes. I build the boys and men's Dickens vests/ waistcoats. Frock coats for men and boys can also be custom made.
Completed costume ships at least 3 to 4 weeks before you need the costume. I will need the date you will need the costume(s) in hand.
All of my designs/creations are made in a smoke free environment.Thanks for looking and shopping. Corsage and brooch are for inspiration only, and not part of the set. I ship priority mail. A tracking number will be sent after shipping.

Showbelles is a true handmade shop. Items are not outsourced to an outside company. Please be advised that custom items, made to fit your size apparel, are non-returnable. Be sure to have accurate measurements. If you need help with measuring , I will send you a measuring doll sketch. The doll sketch will show you exactly how and where to measure.

Sizing details
Showbelles items are all custom made, and made to order. All listings have the needed measurements in the descriptions. Please see the list below for sizing.
1. I make all sizes from 34 bust to 52 bust for women.
2. For men, I make all sizes from 38 shoulders to 52 shoulders.
3. I can also make childrens' sizes from a size 7/8 and higher.

Care instructions
Some of my custom items are washable in cold water with biodegrable detergents like Woolite. some of my custom items need dry cleaning.
1. Any item made from pure silk will need dry cleaning.
2. For polyester and poly blends, I highly recommend dry cleaning for holding the crisp new look. some polyester garments can be cool water hand washed. No dryers. Lay flat to dry. Very warm iron.
3.Cotton and cotton blends can be handwashed cold water. Cool dryer or tumble dry on very low heat setting. I highly recommend dry cleaning because all of my custom items are special occasion.
